Research Indexes & Databases

We are gradually making available word-searchable PDF files of indexes and databases compiled by our volunteers as research aids. Following is a list currently available, each of which has its own page - click on the Research Databases tab to go to the relevant index.

1.    The People of Rowes Hill - a list of known burials in both marked and unmarked graves, with some biographical information and references.

2.    Mittagong Infectious Diseases Register 1898-1938 - contains information on individuals notified as contracting an infectious disease such as typhoid, scarlet fever and pneumonic influenza. The Society holds the original register which contains some additional information. Photographic copies of the relevant pages can be ordered from us for a small fee. Please email us with any requests.

3.    Visitors Book: Bonnum Pic in Nattai National Park - This book was kept in a metal box at Bonnum Pic which lies near the end of a spectacular knife-edge ridge that juts out into the Wollondilly Valley in Nattai National Park.
