Berrima District Museum is operated by a dedicated band of volunteer members of the society.
Operations commenced on the current site in 1976 following the relocation of the front section of a cottage donated by Mr & Mrs Frank Lansley of Moss Vale.
Over time, three major extensions have increased the exhibition and storage areas to accommodate the growing collection.
The museum is a member of:
- Museums Australia
- Southern Highland and Illawarra Chapter of Museums Australia, and
- Tourism Southern Highlands.
The Society acknowledges valuable assistance from Wingecarribee Shire Council, on whose land the museum is situated. |
